Leagues
FRIEND LEAGUES.
A VsALL league is a small group of friends, four or six players, playing a season together. One of you is the commissioner. Everyone else joins from a single invite link, and the schedule pairs you off one rival per week until the season ends.
How do I start a league with my friends?
Sign in, name the league, pick your timezone and a roster size of four or six, then send the invite link. When the roster fills, you start the season and week one opens on the next Monday. Setup is about two minutes.
ROSTER SIZES
Four and six are the only options, because those are the shapes the schedule engine can run cleanly: everyone gets a rival every week, and nobody sits out. Four players means you meet everyone often and rivalries build fast. Six means more variety and a real playoff race.
THE COMMISSIONER
The person who creates the league runs it. Commissioners set the timezone, the number of Scoring Runs per week, the season length, and which optional features are switched on.
What a commissioner can change, and when
Settings are editable freely while the season is still a draft. Once a season starts, its rules are frozen: the scoring values, the challenge deck, the Hail Mary stakes and the calendar are snapshotted on day one so the season you are playing cannot be rewritten underneath you. Changes apply to the next season.
Corrections
Commissioners can correct a wrong result, and nothing about that is quiet. A correction records who made it, when, why, and the value before and after. The affected run is badged as commissioner adjusted everywhere it appears.
INVITES AND MEMBERSHIP
Invites are single links with a token. Redeeming one is a single server-side transaction, so two people accepting at the same moment cannot overfill a roster or take the same seat.
Once competition has started, members are never deleted. A player who leaves or is removed keeps their history and is marked inactive, removed or forfeited, because erasing a player would erase the results everyone else earned against them.
SCORING, AGREED UP FRONT
Every league plays under a named, versioned ruleset. The official VsALL rulesets are immutable: a change creates a new version rather than editing the old one. A commissioner can also keep a league-owned ruleset for house rules, which can never leak into another league.

WHEN A SEASON ENDS
A settled season is read-only history. RUN IT BACK starts the next one with the same crew, carrying the rivalry records forward while last season stays intact. Leagues that have played are archived rather than deleted, so nobody can vanish a season they lost.
SAME GAMES. BIGGER STAKES.
Four or six friends is all it takes. The first week opens on the next Monday.
