RANKINGS AND RECORDS.
VsALL ranks players inside their league on weekly results: wins first, then total points as the tiebreak. Alongside the table, every pair of players carries a rival record, an all-time head-to-head count that keeps running across seasons.
The table is the smaller half of this. The rivalry is the part people remember.
How are players ranked?
Each week ends in a win or a loss. Standings sort on wins, then on points scored, so a big scoring week improves your seeding without letting you buy a week you actually lost. Seeding from the regular season decides the knockout rounds.
WHAT GETS KEPT
Rival record
Every opponent you have ever faced has a number attached: wins, losses, and your last three meetings. It appears on the matchup screen, in the standings drill-down and on your profile. It does not reset when a season does.
Career record
Weeks won and lost, seasons played, championships, best week, longest streak. A profile is a resume, including the bad parts.
Streaks
Consecutive successful runs earn a bonus up to a cap, and consecutive weeks won show on your profile. If a result is corrected, streaks are recalculated from the corrected history rather than left standing on a number that is no longer true.
Trophies
Championships and season awards land on a trophy shelf on your profile, in the crown treatment reserved for exactly that.

HISTORY IS IMMUTABLE
A settled season is read-only. Rules are frozen at the moment a season starts, so a result can never change meaning because someone edited a scoring value afterwards. The only way a past number moves is an audited commissioner correction, which records who, when, why, and the values before and after.
Leagues that have played are archived rather than deleted, and players who leave are marked inactive instead of erased, because deleting them would delete the wins other people earned.
HOW RANKINGS WILL EVOLVE
Today ranking is scoped to your league, which is correct while the unit of competition is a group of friends. As community and qualifier tiers arrive, cross-league rating becomes meaningful and will be introduced then, built on the same frozen rulesets so it cannot retroactively reinterpret anyone's season.
